It was announced yesterday that Japanese apparel group TSI holdings will be acquiring 90% ownership of Huf in the following month. TSI cut Huf's parent company, Huf Holdings a check for a whopping $63 million American dollars.
Currently, Huf has three stores in Japan, so the move makes sense for both parties according to the group.
"Skateboarding is now an official sport at the Tokyo Olympic Games, so from now on the number of competitors may increase. I’d like to expand the company simultaneously in China, not just in Japan," said TSI Holdings President Tadashi Saito.
The Huf is expanding.
